it depends what kind of music classes you want and where. I know in suffolk there's Music Together that's more like a group music session for younger children. And there's Gymboree as well. However if its to learn to play a specific instrument 5 may still be a little young (although it's a great age to begin piano!)

You can look for Suzuki classes for violin or for Kindermusic.
