Murphys Floor cleaner
Is Murphys really that bad for wood floors? I got so tired of seeing streaks on my hardwood floors from the numerous cleaners I have tried, so I caved and tried the Murphys. Well, I have to tell ya my floors haven't looked this nice in months.
It has been around for so long why is it all of a sudden not good for floors.

Re: Murphys Floor cleaner
I've never heard of it being bad for floor.
I use it all the time.
It's the only think that doesnt seem to make them streaky.
I like the way it smells and is natural ingredients.

Re: Murphys Floor cleaner
The guy who refinished my hardwood floors told me not to use Murphy's (don't know why). He said a damp mop and mix in a little vinegar to disinfect if i want. I have cleaned them a few times and they come out great. No streaks.

Re: Murphys Floor cleaner
It leaves a film that builds up over time and actually dulls the finish on the hardwood. A good vacuuming followed by a just barely damp mop with plain water is the best for floors.
I do use it on my kitchen cabinets to get off the cooking buildup, then follow up with lemon oil.
