Murphy is a hero! (with Pics)
Last night before I went to bed I walked Murphy around in the yard on his leash to make sure he "went" one last time. Anyway as we walked past the gutter, he did a double take and was sniffing like crazy. I heard a squeak so I thought it was a mouse or a baby possum or something. I was scared because it was so dark out! I pulled him inside.
So this morning he wakes me up at 6:30am crying at the window. Ugh... ok ok... we go back outside and he goes right the the gutter. I shake it a little and hear noises in there again. So now its bright out and I feel brave so I remove the lower, curved part of the gutter and a little sparrow flew out!!!
I was so proud of Murphy! I would have never known the bird was in there!!
But now he wont stop sniffing the area... I guess he is making sure there was only one.

I could only imagine if my grand-dog is so smart, how my grand-son will be a genius among us all...
