multi-vitamin with flouride- how do you give it?
I just got a refill of DS's vitamins and they must taste different b/c he completely flipped out after I gave it to him. He was spitting and grabbing his tongue  it was quite funny but now he won't take it again. Can I mix it with anything?

I think some people mix it with OJ, not sure.
DS loves water so I put his sippy right in front of him after lunch but give him the vitamin right before handing him the sippy.

I don't know how old your ds is but mine was so happy when we switched him to chewables, he actually loves them still and is now 3. I always have to mix the liquid one with apple sauce or something really sweet.

Thats funny! I can just picture Coop doing that! Chris never used to take it so we put it in his cereal, but only in a little spot so it was 1 or 2 bites and done. Now he takes it by itself, but I think it definitely changed again. My dr said you can put it in anything.

My doc siad chewables too, but to stick with liquid as long as you can. See how it goes and then ask at your next appt.

Danielle, I just had this issue. Dr. Joe gave me a Rx. for the chewables. A thinks he is such a big boy taking his nightly vitamin. He even asks for more LOL

my ds is prob too young for chewables and refuses the vitamin in food, formula, etc... he knows its there and hates it
im at a loss...are the chewables very hard?
