Mucusy cough but no other symptoms

My DS has had this cough..its like in the morning and the night..for about 5 days..but only a few times during the day..he has no fever and no stuffy nose..do you think it could be Post Nasel drip or maybe the saliva from his teething? I dont want to take him to the dr. if he has no other symptoms then the cough..

I heard it can come from teething.

If you want, set up a humidifer and see if it breaks up.

DD had the same thing. I took her to the Dr. and they told me all I could really do is put a humidifier in her room (already do this) and use saline drops and a aspirator in her nose to clear out some of the mucus. It went away on its own.

Stacey...Gianna has the SAME exact thing!
Only at nite is when you hear it and gets worse and 1st thing in the am.

She coughs and its almost like she wants to spit it out, the mucous.

I know...you cant do anything for them as far as colds.
Just hope Gavin gets better soon

Oh man..Thank you guys so so much..at least it makes me feel better that he's not alone..I didnt want to take him to the doctor because thats where he will probably get sick LOL
