nothing i believe, i was never told not to eat chinese food while pregnant. the msg may not be too good. so i would ask your doctor about that, but i dont think its harmful in anyway. my obgyn never mentioned it to me. i think your fine. no worries.

I just read something today that said MSG has no harm on the developing fetus. Personally, MSG has always given me migraines/headaches so I always ask for no MSG. Plus chinese food can be salty, so i up my water.
Go for it if you want it!

My dr told me chinese food was ok to eat but to check with the place I am ordering from first to make sure they dont use MSG in their cooking. (this was one of the things on the stay away from list he gave me) - the majority of places do not use it these days buit better safe than sorry. I have always had side effects when eating chinese with msg so I definately steer clear of it while prego.

When I was preggo, I couldn't eat chinese food because I got so sick after I ate it. My mom said It was from the MSG, so I stopped eating it. They say they dont put any in their food but I dont believe it.
