Mr and Mrs Bin Laden documentary rocks BBC
The son of Osama Bin Laden has defended his terrorist father and admitted: “I love him so much.”
Omar Bin Laden, 27, made the shocking admission in his first on-air interview on controversial BBC documentary Mr and Mrs Bin Laden.
Omar fondly reminisces about his father, whom he says he hasn’t seen since 2000.
He said he didn’t care whether Osama was responsible for the September 11 terrorist attack in 2001 in New York.
“It’s not my business. I don’t care if he says ‘I did it’ or not,” he said.
He added: “I feel about my father like any boy does. I love him so much and I ask God to save him and to give him more life.”
Omar said he trained with his father’s terrorist cell Al-Qaeda, but left because he was not interested in war.
He said: “He (Osama) taught me about guns and machines for war.
“I can’t fight. I don’t like to be this way.
“I never killed anybody.”
Omar, who was married twice before he wed Brit Jane Felix-Browne after meeting her last year, said he was looking for a fourth wife.
“I think I want to marry again. Younger woman for make baby,” he said in broken English.
“Actually, I would help him choose one,” Felix-Browne said on the documentary.
She tied the knot with Bin Laden’s fourth eldest son after a holiday romance. Felix-Browne, who has been married five times previously, met Omar in Egypt while undergoing treatment for multiple sclerosis.
