Movement Question 20 weeks
Is it normal to feel like is going crazy in there at this point? I've been feeling movement for a few weeks now but they are a lot stronger and a lot more often now. My placenta is in the front so I'm not sure how much is being blocked but there is movement that I can still feel in the front, DH can feel it and you can see the movement if it's a strong one, it looks like a quick wave or twitch. I feel the most movement very low towards my spine and above my vag. It feels like she is facing my back a lot. It's so strong sometimes that it scares me. It feels like a circus in there!
Does anyone else feel this much movement? And low?

Re: Movement Question 20 weeks
you would feel it low beacuse at the stage you are at your uterus is not that high up yet.
I felt them low at first and now at 25w the kicks are much higher.

Re: Movement Question 20 weeks
I'm 22 weeks, and I've felt mostly low for the past 3-4 weeks now...and they've mostly been kicks/pokes/twitches...
but starting just this week I've been comparing baby to an ACROBAT!!! honestly, I don't know what's really going on, but if I had to guess from how it feels, I'd say Flipping, swimming, adjusting to another location...it's constant from about 8pm on, the craziness, and the regular pokes and kicks I feel moderately throughout the day...
and they're just now starting to get a bit higher, like around my belly button
ITS SO MUCH FUN!!!

See and it freaks me out! She was going so crazy last night that I couldn't sleep for like an hour. I thought she was going to fall out Don't get me wrong, I do love feeling the movements but it's so weird, especially when I could feel them on my hand and see my belly move. Some of the movements are getting really strong, they don't hurt but I've had a few the last few days that have startled me because of their strength. I think that is what gets me, I never thought they'd feel so strong!

Re: Movement Question 20 weeks
I feel a lot of movement as well, and have been for several weeks. I am 22 weeks. I have an anterior placenta as well-- so I am a bit nervous too, as last time I barely felt anythign at this point!
I am not worried about anything being wrong-- just worried I'm gonna have an animal!

Re: Movement Question 20 weeks
Im 24 weeks and today the baby started moving like crazy! I also have an anterior placenta, that and the fact that I'm heavy to begin with, I didnt really start to feel the baby until areound 20weeks. Before that it just felt like gas I feel the baby the most when I'm sitting. And I get the most movement from him when I drink milk or a milkshake. Sometimes I feel him low (like he's dancing on my bladder) and other times I feel him around my belly button.

LMAO! Same here. I'm afraid she is going to be a wild woman I just hope she doesn't break anything in there, I'm scared for when I get bigger and experience the rib kicks, if they are this strong I'm in big trouble.
I guess I'm also surprised to feel so much now, especially as a first timer. I thought it would be more sporadic like a few movements a day but I feel moves on and off all day and all night everyday.

To be honest I have no idea how to explain it because it has never felt like what most people describe. Around 16 weeks it felt like little soft twitches that I only noticed if I was laying down and still and now at 20 weeks it's stronger, longer and it feels more like somersaults, flips and strong pokes. I can feel movement whether I'm sitting, standing, laying, peeing, walking, etc. but I feel a lot at night when I switch positions.
