Re: Interviews....I need some tips for someone
She can do a few things -
1. She can wear dress slacks and shoes and a nice sweater instead of a blouse depending on the weather - at leats for professional positions I've interviewed at.
2. She should bring with her 3-4 copies of her resume with the last sheet including at least 3 references (professional).
3. As for the current job she holds. When my interviewees asked me about about my references, I told them that my current position was not aware of my looking and that I provided references from previous employers as to my validity and professionalism.
If they don't ask, don't worry about it.
