Where did you buy your TV from?
I was told by PC Richards it will be like $500, so I was going to hire an outside source, well when they came to deliver the TV, my DH gave the guys $200 and they did it in 20 min's.

We mounted a 37 inch flat screen last night.
It was very easy to do
What size do you want to mount?

I agree. Save your money, it's very easy to do. What is the size and type of TV?
Go to http://www.sanus.com/us/en/ and enter your TV model on the right to find a mount.
or Call this company: http://www.installsinc.com/

If you or someone you know is somewhat handy mount it yourself and save a ton of cash. Buy a wall mount bracket from:
Monoprice
I have a 47" lcd mounted on a bracket I got from Monoprice for a over a year, no problems. Just make sure you hit the center of the wall stud when installing.

for those that did this themselves, what do you do about the wires? I don't want to see the wires on the wall, but how do you run the lines through the wall?

we had ours done by our contractor his electrician did it we have a 52" with a bracket that swivels all around
he did the whole thing including running the wires through the wall he also wired it up for surround sound, keeping the wires hidden in the event we even want it.
i can't tell you the $$ b/c it was included in ther renovation of the apt.

You can see just a little white thing at the bottom of my TV... That's the opening and all the wires went through it and pulled out at the bottom behind the stand "I had another opening where they all came out". The white thing is a cap like they use for electoral outlets but a little different.
