mothers day gift
what is a good mothers day gift for about $200?
a coworker asked me - im thinking jewelry - but is there some kind of "represntation" of mother with jewelry?
help!

they make "mother/child" necklaces...they're hard to explain...
also, they do necklaces/bracelets/rings with the childrens birthstones in them

this is more what i was thinking - are they called anything? Like the "past, present, future" diamonds? or something like that....
would you think that this would be appropriate for a husband to give his wife on mothers day?

They have a lot of mom Jewelry. He can get a locket with the kids pictures, they have necklaces with charms of boys and girls, he can get jewelry with the kid's birthstones in it. There are also some cultural symbols (celtic, mayan, etc...) for mothers.
Honestly, as a mom, I would LOVE a day off adn spa day. I think every mom needs a little pampering.
Jewelry is nice, but if he has little kids, she may not wear it. I know I don't wear necklaces anymore unless I'm going out because DD will grab them.
