Mother's Day/Father's Day gift ideas

Hi ladies!

Dd is the first for DH and I. She is also the first grandchild in the family. Since it's the first year, I'm trying to find gift ideas for my mother and mil from the baby. Also, I'm trying to find a good gift for dh's first Father's Day!

-- necklace with birthstones
-- pandora bracelet or charms
-- those glass/crystal squares with the child's face etched inside
-- canvas print picture of the kids
-- hat / tshirt / purse with a pic of the kids
-- something that your DD made
-- tickets to a show that they can take your DD (circus / disney on ice / etc)

Mother's Day/Father's Day gift ideas

last year i made note pads on shutterfly with DS's picture on it for both grandmothers.

i also saw this year a terracotta flower pot with the kids handprints on the side made to look like a butterfly, which i thought was so cute. then plant a flower and give that to them!

a pandora charm is also nice if they have a bracelet.

i wanted to make a tshirt for my FIL last year, but DH didn't think it was such a great idea. it's hard to find things for grandfathers.

this year i'm giving the grandmothers a precious moment statue that says "i love grandma" and "i love nana" they make them for boys and girls.

this year i am getting an origami owl necklace for my MIL for mother's day, i'm putting in initials of her grandchildren, no ideas for father's day yet! But for xmas I got all the parents calendars with the grandchildren's pictures in them, they loved it.
