Mother left Stray Kittens-Need Help-Update at bottom--Mother might have been found Dead
My sister's stray cat had kittens (5) a few days ago and the mother left last night and never returned. My sister needs help--she has 2 cats and 4 small children of her own....she is going to bottle feed but can anyone recommend someone around her area that would foster the kittens (I work 12+ hours per day and have a mean full grown cat so I really can't help)

maybe you can call Little Shelter in East Northport and see if they can come take the kittens

I don't think Little Shelter takes animals from people, they pull from shelter's only, but they might have some good advice.

We went to Huntington Animal Shelter and after speaking to them for awhile some nice man there finally said that someone brought in a dead cat on Saturday that looks like the mother. They would not let us look at it but think it was her which means she was lying dead for 5 days (I hope was and not suffering).
If anyone know someone on Burr Road in East Northport that brought a dead cat to the shelter let me know.
Also, Grateful Paws is looking for volunteers and foster homes.
