Mosquitos in FL January
I will be in Miami in January for a wedding, and Zika cases are starting to pop up down there. While I'm not expecting and probably won't be at that time, DH and I are not done having children. Are mosquitos a year-round thing down there? I want to make sure I pack or purchase bug spray.

Mosquitos in FL January
All year long they are out. Summer is def worse, but they're def present in winter here.

Year round.
But Zika isn't a forever disease. Once it's out of the system you guys can start to  if you wish. I would buy trip insurance regardless just in case you're pregnant at that time.

Yes.
Both partners need to be found clear of it before TTC
I think it takes longer to leave a man's system than a woman's- but don't quote me on that!

It is in one section of Miami right now. They are recommending bug spray. I think if you travel I would put TTC on hold

Mosquitos in FL January
We are going to Orlando in Nov. I said to my husband that it could be there by then. He said he read that they die off in October in Florida. I don't know much about it.
