Re: moses baskets
I received one as a present and it seemed a little flimsy to me.
I never moved DS in it, but I had it downstairs in the living room for an occassional nap.

if i'm reading posts correctly, you're thinking of getting the uppababy - if you do, you can absolutely use THAT bassinet as a sort of "basket" for the baby so sleep in and be moved around in!

Re: moses baskets
One of my friends registered for one and I bought it for her. She told me she wound up returning it bc it was a waste. They just look too small to me and cumbersome to carry around.
