Mortgage pymt/grace period/credit question?
Obviously mortgage is due on the 1st, your grace period before it's considered late is the 15th. Now, is it reported on your credit report at that point, or not until 30 days like everything else and it's just considered late with a late fee? Thanks!

not reported but I do believe there is a late fee after the due date.

paid after the 16th starts the late payment according to my statement- but wouldnt be on your credit report until it was more than 30 days
and honestly if it happened once, you could probably call and they might "forgive" it once and not report it

I just remember my broker saying if pymt is made ON the 16th, it's not considered late...
