More IVF questions...
Sorry Ladies but I am out of control with questions about this stuff. I just read somewhere (yes I am google CRAZY) that after the ER...... NO SEX for 2 WEEKS!! has anyone else been told that? what about swimming? Are you allowed to go swimming after the ER and ET?? TIA Ladies!!

Yes, they don't want you to have "relations" until after beta ...Also no swimming (though I "thought" that was only after transfer, but I don;'t recall ) My guess is risk of infection

That's my understanding.
Some doctors are more conservative.
I have to say although it sucks, I would listen to the docs and do what they say.

I was told nothing inserted into the vagina, no baths, no swimming until the first pregnancy test which is usually 12-14 days after the ET.

This was my understanding also....all that work I followed the drs. instructions to a T! I wasn't going to risk me doing something silly that would screw all my hard work up!!
