More important for an Umbrella Stroller, Snack Tray or Maneuverability?
I've been researching & debating between a couple of different lightweight strollers for a while now and all of the research is making my head spin. There are so many different ones!!!
I've narrowed it down to two, the Combi Cosmo & Uppababy G Luxe. We currently have a City Mini which my 15m DS hates. I think the recline is too far back and he feels trapped in it. Ever since he was 10 months old, a simple trip to the mall is torture. So much so, that I use a Step 2 car instead (which has other issues when he's eye level with tags and clothes).
The Cosmo seems like a great stroller since its the only one I can find with a snack tray. I feel like this feature is important when trying on clothes in a dressing room or paying for an item. I never underestimate the power of puffs. However, I read that the wheels are cheap & it can be very hard to maneuver. So much so, that you have to lift the whole thing up every time you hit a bump on a sidewalk, and forget about grass.
The Uppababy G Luxe has wheel suspension & seems like a breeze to steer. It also has a long, UV proof sun shade and adjustable foot rest, which looks super comfy ( the material is also a really smooth cotton and the stroller is just more attractive, IMO). This seems like a good option bc I can use it for walks too.
But the most important thing here, is that DS won't scream when placed in it. Sometimes I wonder if the type of stroller doesn't matter. Maybe he just doesn't like being strapped into one at all, KWIM? Am I wasting my $$ here?
TIA for any advice!

i bought the cheap bru baby trend brand 50 dollars and love it, huge basket and ds loves the ability to sit up and eat his puffs on the tray (it also reclines all the way back for naps . we have the city select which I LOOOOOVE but thats for nice long walks and the beach etc
my advice is to go to bru with him and see which one he likes too :)
ps also has cup holder for you and a place for your phone which i like a lot
maneuvering is just like any other small stroller its small wheels you cant compare that to the big ones

Re: More important for an Umbrella Stroller, Snack Tray or Maneuverability?
For me, maneuverability was key. I wanted to be able to push one-handed when necessary. I would give DS a snack in a snack trap or give him his sippy cup and he would just put it beside him. I bought a universal tray at some point, but didn't get much use out of it becauase I had to remove it every time I folded the stroller. Hope this helps!

I have the Uppababy G luxe and we love it. The stroller is really comfortable, really lightweight, pushes really nicely, has a cup holder, and a (small) basket. Also has a great UV shade (which is why I bought it - for a vacation), and stands on its own when folded.
As you pointed out, there is no tray. So far it hasn't been a problem, but as time goes on, I am sure a tray would be helpful.

Thanks, I didnt see this one at BRU. He seemed to like the Cosmo at the store, but then again he liked the G Luxe at Buy Buy baby when i tried too. It's hard to tell if he'll still like it at the mall, when the novelty wears off. Why is this so hard
