Anyone heard about her? I know she was having some financial and pregnancy issues and I have a bunch of stuff for her-this is not her complete screen name but close enough. Anyone know?

SHe had emailed me the other day. She is staying strong. She is now on complete bedrest and was fully effaced and 2cm dilated.. If i hear anything more ill let you all know. Lets keep her and her son in our prayers!!

Hi ladies!
You're all too sweet for thinking of me. Yes, I spent a night in L & D and got put on strict bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy on Friday. I'm now fully effaced and 2cm dilated, so the doc didn't want me working at all anymore. And I'm not supposed to be standing/walking for more than 15-20min at a time.....I'm just trying to figure out the financial aspect of all this nonsense since baby boy's father decided to split on me and left me hanging for child care and finances (I'm not even factoring in the main issue which is that my son won't have his father around in his life).
I tried to go to social services yesterday to get temp assistance/food stamps/WIC, etc....but ended up with contractions 3-4 minutes apart again, so I came home to relax. I'm attempting it again in an hour or so. Hopefully, baby boy and my uterus will cooperate this time.
I'm almost at the 34 week point (on Saturday)...so, if I make it that far I'll be happy. Of course, they best scenario will be to make it to at least 36 weeks. My parents have been great in helping me out with a few little things, but they also have their own lives to run....so, it's been tough being on my own for the last few weeks----but I'm hanging in for now.
Thank you for checking in on me. I'm not sure when I'll be able to make the trip to LI to pick up the items a few ladies are holding for me---but I'll get down there at some point. Promise!
