Moodiness...
Are many of you experiencing this? I feel so bad for DH b/c sometimes I'm just downright impatient and rude!! I was never like this before with him and I can't stand it! Luckily he understands and I apologize all the time for being cranky, but I just can't seem to get a grip!
This morning I thought for sure he was going to be mad at me for being cranky last night but when I woke up he said "hi preggo mommy!" and totally forgot all about it. Hes the best!

Re: Moodiness...
I've been hypersensitive too. I would get upset about silly things (ie. burning dinner, misplacing items, etc) and taking it out on him. DH was understanding to a point, but he finally got fed up and told me he wasn't going to stand for rudeness anymore- so I've learned to redirect my emotional outbursts toward something other than him. Now I just tell him I'm feeling frustrated/sad and what I need to calm myself (whether it be a hug, time alone, etc). It's worked wonders and he's been more understanding now that I've made an effort to control myself.
As of late, I try to recognize this behavior before it happens and nip it in the bud..... I feel that even though I have an "excuse", there really IS no excuse for being rude and short with DH.

Re: Moodiness...
I am SO moody, especially the last few weeks. I feel bad for DH, even when it's not him to experiences the direct effect of the moodiness. Last weekend we were out to dinner and I was rude to the waitress for reallly no reason. DH said I embarassed him, and he doesn't embarass easily!

Re: Moodiness...
OMG I have a lot of moodiness lately!! my DH is having a hard time adjusting to it and really so am I!! I blam it all on hormones, and alsoI quit smoking... I usually make myself some decaf tea and take a warm bath when I'm having a rough day and it helps!!

Re: Moodiness...
This is very, very common for 1st trimester - a woman I work with is 10 wks preggo and she asked me about moodiness... It can be why early preggo signs can be mistaken for PMS.
I thought for sure I was going to lose my mind with people early in my pregnancy - the stupidest thing would set me off... but something happens in your 3rd trimester - nothing gets to me at all - in fact, people's stupidity and incompetence sets me into a fit of giggles... maybe I've gone in the opposite direction, but I figure it will all balance out once the hormones calm down....
Don't worry - its all normal, and it should go away!!!

Re: Moodiness...
OMG, lately i have moments when i CAN'T STAND dh, which are SO uncharacteristic (well, obviously, or he wouldn't be my dh!). they center around the fact that i am losing my mind with m/s, and he gets to live his normal life and STILL call it "our" baby!
i know it's irrational. plus, he is being SO good, getting me food, cleaning up, etc.
the hormones have really got me

Re: Moodiness...
I am in my second trimester and can get very moody. DH doesnt like when i get like this and will tell me right away that its not fair to him. I also get very annoyed with people very very easily. I am not a crabby person but lately I dont know what has gotten into me. I feel sorry for DH but I am carrying the baby so I dont feel that bad for him. He is being very good though with calming me down when he sees my temper rising.

Re: Moodiness...
I'm a basketcase. DH doesn't cut me slack...he thinks women and hormones is a load of bull. He married the wrong girl/family for that philosophy!
Usually once I "break" and I'm in tears I let it out that it's really nothing more than the pregnancy having it's way with me and he understands...but he doesn't really buy into it...I can tell.
