mood affecting work
I know its hard to be able to pretend everything is ok in your day to day life. Some days I feel like yelling because I am so tired of pretending I am not sad. I guess I am not doing such a good job since my boss told me I have been strange lately.

This was me for a very long time... I always felt like I had to go with the 'all or nothing attitude'... where I'd pretend things were totally fine.
After so long, I've stopped pretending... stopped coming up with excuses... It is what it is and people will just have to roll with it!

I was also like this for a loooooong time (until I got PG). Unfortunately, it has started again since my m/c, so I'm right there with you.
I hope you feel better soon, IF make every day so difficult

Re: mood affecting work
Well of course it affects work. How could it not? You have to go in and do you job no matter what's going on personally, so it's bound to rear its ugly head some time or another, even if you're pretty good at keeping your private life private.
Sometimes work is a welcome distraction from the anxiety and suffering. Other days, I feel like such a shell of my former self, that I can hardly muster the energy to manage my professional responsibilities. The worst is that, as a teacher, I feel such guilt when I'm not at my best because I feel like I'm stealing from kids a chance to learn something that day...or if I need time off to get things shoved up my hoo-hah, forget it.
Oh it's a roller coaster all right!
