DH and I just got back from Montreal and Quebec. Definitely walk through the old section of town and hike or drive up the mountain for a spectacular view of the city. We're not foodies, so I cant recommend any restaurants but their bagels are really good!!! Something to do with boiling them in honey water. Yum! Chat Icon

Re: Montreal Canada

If you like Steak, I suggest Queue De Cheval. Possibly the best rib eye I have ever eaten. Try to get the wild mushroom sautee as a side, Delicious.

For breakfast, try Eggspectations

Re: Montreal Canada

I went to Montreal this past August.

We ate at this great restuarant called Verses Restuarant - pricy but if you want a really nice french meal, totally worth it!

We also had the best fondue and crepes ever at Chez Suzette (really close to the IMAX pier). Probably geared towards tourists but it was totally phenomenal. It was so good, we ate there twice!

We took a boat tour (left from a pier near the IMAX). I don't know if they run so late in the year though.

Definitely check out the different neighborhoods, and head over to the Biodome. Ask your hotel concierge if they have discounted tickets! We bought doscounted tickets for the biodome and other attractions, plus that allows you to bypass the ticket lines, which can be rather lengthy on weekends!

There is an area with many fun-filled Irish pubs. Great live music, etc. If that is your scene, definitely worth checking out!

Oh and find a good bakery and buy a few different types of pastries.
