Monitors
What monitor are u all registering for? I am so unsure b/c I don't think I really want the summer one. I don't know which one I want though. Those of u that have monitors already did your phone or your wireless internet interfere with your monitor? TIA!

Re: Monitors
Every monitor I have tried with DD #1 had interference...I hate them all!!!
This time around I went with the Safety 1st High Definition Digital monitor. Supposedly the digital has no interference, but it's more expensive. I don't know yet, but once baby comes I'll find out.

Re: Monitors
I registered for the angelcare monitor which detects baby's movements so it alerts you if (godforbid) baby stops breathing. I also got a day/night video monitor

Re: Monitors
We registered for the Sony monitor. It's basic but it got good reviews and was rated as having good reception. I couldn't justify the Summer Infant monitor, it is just so much money and I don't think it's necessary but that's just me. I've also read reviews of it where people said the Summer monitor has picked up other babies and on the screen so you might turn it on and see a kid that isn't yours. My friend swears by it and loves the Summer monitor but I think I will be fine with a regular monitor where I can hear the baby clearly. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Monitors
I have the Summer moniter- almost 3 years later and still going strong (the only thing that doesnt work is the picture if its not plugged in, but I'm pretty sure I can get a new battery for it and just never did)...Summer has excellent customer service also, had gotten the infant tub to shower and within a few months the sprayer went, they sent me a whole new one, no questions asked )
ETA- never had any interference
