Money for Bachelorette Party?
My SIL invited me to her friend's bachelorette party. I met her a few times, but I'm not going to the wedding or anything. Anyway, I'm not going to the party. SHould I give her money to buy:
a) the Bachelorette a drink ($20) b) a round (who knows how much that is - about 20 girls in AC) c) nothing
TIA!

I think it would be really nice of you to buy the bride to be a drink, through your SIL, but if you're not really friends with the girl, I don't think it's necessary.

I don't think anything is necessary. If you feel really obligated you could get one of those fun silly bachelorette party toys for her.

Re: Money for Bachelorette Party?
I think that's actually really nice of you to even be thinking of sending something considering the bride's not even your friend. I think it's totally unneccesary, but if you really just want to be sweet, I would either buy the bride a drink through your SIL or maybe spend that same $20 on a gag gift for the party ie x-rated straws to drink out of for the night or something to that effect
eta: I just realized that I repeated what both the OP said.....great minds...

ITA. Doing something like that is a very nice gesture.

I say nothing. But that is really nice of you to even think about giving her something.
