Moms who got their children into modeling- Im beyond excited and I have a question
Lucas is with funny face today and he got booked with Parents magazine  Im beyond excited. Now that he was booked, does this mean he will definitely be in the magazine?

First off, congrats!
I believe he has a good shot at getting into the magazine, but sometimes articles/photos get put on the back burner if something else crops up. It is basically at the editor's discretion, I believe.
 He gets in!!

yay!!!! congrats!!! i don't really know what that means. my boys were both in modeling. one did a commercial and stock photography and my younger one was on as the world turns. when we got picked my agent called us to tell us either they picked him or we had to go for a call back. usually when you go for a callback you are the one they want!

He definitely got the job, I just wasn't sure if that means that he will definitely be in the magazine but I guess we will find out haha

I did a search on here and saw that some people used funny face today so I went on their website and you upload a few pictures and they will contact you (I think it took about 2 weeks for them to contact me). I went in for a meeting with them and then they contacts me anytime there was a go see, or if someone requested to see Lucas. This is the first time Lucas has been booked so im beyond excited. Just be aware that you have to travel to the city for pretty much everything and its during the week.

My DS is with Funny Face 
DS has been in a few mags and generally what happens is when you go, there will be a few other children there.....
As an exapmle; My DS did an article on feeding....
He and a few other children all did the same backgrounds and "poses"....Then when all is said and done, they go back and choose whichever shot the best and thats the one that gets published...
One of the publications he did shot a variety of children just "hanging" out and everyone made it in as a group shot..
The tricky part is , they don't always tell you which issue he would be featured in if they pick him and you kind of just have to keep an eye out
 ...My cousin was in her OBGYN's office and called me estatic that she saw DS's pic in the waiting room magazine and THATS how I found out he made it in one of them....Then I called the magazine directly and asked for a couple of copies for keepsakes...
Definately ask while you are there if they know !

I submitted pics of DD when she was first born and was rejected. I resubmitted a few weeks ago and still haven't heard anything
