Moms who are BFing or have BF'd to 6 months and beyond-question for you
i am getting concerned and wondering if this is normal. DD is just about 6mths old and is EBF-but is now on solids too. i think this is normal but i am so worried about my milk supply now that i am not nursing as much. my BBS are always soft and not too full. i don't feel the letdown as much either. i am BFing about 5x a day. did/does anyone else have this? is it ok? TIA

It is normal b/c your body is working on the supply & demand principle. You are demanding less of your body so it is supplying you less. Do you feel like DD is still getting enough milk during a feeding? When I cut back to BFing 5x a day, I was definitely less sensitive so the letdown feeling wasn't as intense.

Totally normal. The only time mine feel full anymore are when we are out and about and she skips a feeding for a few hours. We have been EBF for over a year now.

Totally normal I actually welcomed the not so full feeling when she started on baby food.
