Moms of 3 year olds in day care

I would like to enroll my son in swim classes this year. Of course there is also music and other things but I don't want to burden him too much which extra curricular activities because he gets full days in day care and they are also very good about crafts, story times and music time there so it's not like he needs "extra". Besides, I want to make sure weekends are reserved for family time since I barely get to see my pookies during the week.

What kind of activities do you enroll your child in besides whatever they do in their day care centers.

Nothing

She gets PLENTY at school between yoga, dance, music, drama, soccer, swim, etc.

When she isn't in school, I want her to just have fun, be a rowdy little monkey, and spend time with Mommy, Daddy and her friends

Right now nothing. Our day care has a very structured program, but also balances it with activities and outings. This summer so far they've gone on so many field trips.

We are thinking of enrolling him in karate this fall. It would have to be on the weekend bc we get home in the evenings too late. We used to go to Little Gym every Sat morning as a family, then go to breakfast and then the park or someplace local. That was our family time.

I have been swinging back and forth between dance and soccer...but like the PP's Bella has a super structured environment at school with music, gym, art, etc.

Plus, I am in denial that she is old enough for organized sports
