Moms of 2 or more
I just need to hear from ladies with experience. We have decided its time to try for #2 but sometimes I really wonder how I will handle being pregnant with such an active toddler. He climbs me, throws himself on my stomach and ribs, kicks me in the stomach when I'm changing his diaper (he thinks it's playing, he's not trying to hurt me) when I'm laying down he literally walks ON me. I just worry that He's too rough! Anyone gone through a pregnancy with a very physically demanding toddler? Did you ever worry about things like this?

Yeah, my twins were 14mo when I got pregnant w/ DS#3. My boys are crazy boys and are very physical. It all works out. I survived. Now I have 3 crazy boys.

Exactly, you manage one way or another. My kids are 2 years apart. My ds was a very active toddler, ran wherever he went and climbed anything he could. You just find a way to deal with it. You won't be the first to have an active toddler while pregnant and not the last  GL

I'm not worried about keeping up with him. I'm worried about the kicking in the stomach or throwing himself on me, being rough while I'm pregnant. I've had one mc before, guess I'm just a bit scared. I know I'm certainly not the first or last to experience that. Just wanted to hear from others

well 2 isn't here yet but at the beginning of this pregnancy, I was terrified of getting kicked.
We just explained to B that mommy had a baby in her belly and he had to be gentle- no jumping on me or kicking. Its happened here and there and its been ok- babies are well protected in there, I just keep reminding him

honestly, I find once you are pregnant the 2nd time, you are just a lot more relaxed about that stuff and every bump your toddler makes on you, you may not even realize. I had an extremely active 2.5 year old while pregnant and while I was EXTREMELY more exhausted at night, I never felt my in-utero baby was in danger or anything. hope this helps
we also did stress that "mommy has a baby in her belly, kiss it, rub it, etc".
