Mommies with babies who have AR
How did you begin to suspect that your baby had acid reflux? What are the signs and symptoms?

He was always fussy when nursing and would always arch his back and it looked like he was chewing gum - spit up became more frequent, but for Joseph it's mostly regurgitation. We put him on zantac and that seemed to change it for the better. He hasn't had any testing.

Besides being cranky after eating, Cole spit up ALOT especially when we'd change his diaper. TMI - his spit up smelled really bad too. He had an upper GI series that confirmed it.
Same here. Very fussy eating, limiting the amount they will eat. Lots of spit up especially if you lay them down at all after eating, poor sleep habits because refluxing would wake them up. That's all I can think of right now.

I have to add Joseph also choked one day on regurgitation and stoped breathing for a second. That was what caused me to rush to the dr and get diagnosed along w/ all the other symptoms...
