Mommies who helps you out?
Besides your DH, who do you rely on the most to help you out with taking care your DC and venting about the stress that sometimes comes along with marriage? Do you think you could do it without outside help from family and friends?

Re: Mommies who helps you out?
I don't have the baby yet - But some of my friends/cousins are the BEST people to talk to about the pregnancy stuff -
They're BTDT RECENTLY, so IMO they can give the best advice and offer you differing opinions ........people my Mom's age have of course BTDT, but 30 + years ago ...........they don't have the same concerns and stresses and responsibilities that I do now -
And I absolutely NEED these people's help -
(The OBGYN cousin who's pregnant for the 2nd time is probaby the BEST source I have to admit !! It's like 2 for 1!!)

Re: Mommies who helps you out?
my mom & sister without a doubt!! I don't have a DC yet, but when I do, I know they will be my support system.
my MIL as well, but obviously I don't feel comfortable venting about my DH to her.

I didnt have my baby yet but I know my mom and sisters will be there.
Two of my very close friends also jsut had babies so i'm sure i'll have support from them. it is nice cause when i tell them something, they know the answer cause they have already gone through it!

Re: Mommies who helps you out?
Both of my parents are very supportive and tkae DS whenever we want. Several of my close friends have babies around DS' age and they are great for advice or just to vent.
