Mommies - What books are you reading?
Since i started taking my kids to the library - I decided to make it a goal for me to read at least one book a month. Its been hard to say the least - the nights im so tired and during the day itssometimes impossible - but it sure feels good when i finish that book.
Right now - im reading "Born in Sin" by Nora Roberts.
What are you reading??

Its embarrassing, but I'm reading Lauren Conrad's book LA Candy. Its horrible, but I paid $9.99 for it for my kindle, so I feel like I have to finish it.

I read all of the "In Death" books from J.D. Robb which is Nora Roberts under a different pen name. Right now though I'm reading Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, its pretty good so far. I will read anything by Nora Roberts and Janet Evanovich, they are light quick reads for me.

Right at this moment I am re-reading "The Art Of Mending" by Elizabeth Berg. She's kind of a 'pop' author.. but she has this amazing way of writing relationships.

Just finished the original Sherlock Holmes - now on to something by Barbara Kingsolver, I forget the name.
Is it Animal Dreams? That's my favorite of her books.

I loved The Help!!!
I just finished The Hunger Games and am about to start Catching Fire (it is the second one in the series). Technically they are YA books though but I am reading them to recommend to students too.

LOVED both of them. Catching fire is kind of slow in the beginning but it picks up speed!

Right now I'm reading The Pact by Jodi Picoult. I've been on such a reading kick lately and I've been reading a book a week basically.
I just finished Vanishing Acts also by Jodi Picoult, The Namesake, A Brother's Journey and Water for Elephants...all of them were good.

I recently finished the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. AMAZING!!!! It's like romance/historical fiction with a little bit of sci-fi thrown in. Incredible. I can't wait for her to finish the series!!
I've also just finished Brooklyn by Colm Toibin which was amazingly good and also The Tea Rose, by Jennifer Donnelly which was fantastic.
I'm a huge reader and finish a book every few days.
