mold in bathroom?
how do we know if we have mold growing on our bathroom walls? DH and i have been noticing black spots and we did some research and we think it's mold. there's no musty smell. unfortunately, there's no ventillation system in our bathroom (our apt is old). DH is going to call our landlord tomorrow.
are we in danger from breathing this stuff in?

call your landlord ASAP!!!!!!!!!! we had mold in our apt in the kitchen years ago after a really bad rain storm (on the ceiling). they came immediately to fix it.

Re: mold in bathroom?
Get it taken care of ASAP. We had mold in our Apt as well due to a very bad rain storm and came home one day to the ceiling on the floor.
We had to stay in a hotel for 2-weeks while the apartment got cleaned be a professional company.
You can't smell it and if there is spores in the air, you are breathing them in. I just wanted to add, if your Landlord just replaces the tiles that is not going to fix the problem. It must be tested by a Proffesional Company. There is also home mold testing kits they sell at Home Depot if you want to just for your own safety do that now.
