mold help
we have started to see mold come up on the sheet rock in our apartment from the flood 3 weeks ago. is there anything i can clean it with for now in till i can rip the sheetrock out and re do it? i heard bleach and even lysol. any ideas thanks!

I would use lysols wipes and use an air purifier but if it's on the surface it's probably behind the walls also so you will want to take care of that ASAP. If u rent it's the landlords responsibility. Is this a basement?

I would ask to have it removed. You do not know how much is behine the walls and jsut a cleaning on the surface will take just the surface mold out.

you can't clean it
you can't just remove the sheet rock either- that will disrupt the mold and send the spors everywhere
you need professional mold remediation
your landlord should be paying for that-

I agree with Beth. You really should have a professional come in and check it out. You have no idea what's lurking behind there
