Mohegan Sun vs Foxwoods

I tried a search here and the posts returned were all a couple of years old so I'm looking for some opinions from recent visits.

Which would you recommend for a day trip - Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods? Or would you suggest AC as the better option. (we'd be driving from Queens so distance is about the same)

DH's grandmother will be 95 next week. She sometimes takes a bus to AC so we were thinking of taking her on a day trip to one of the locations so she can get out of the house. We were considering one of the CT locations so she can experience someplace different.

I personally prefer Foxwoods over Mohegan, but you will find differing opinions. I guess the best way to choose is to find out what slots/tables she likes to play and go with which ever one has more of what she likes. You can't really go wrong either way.

I prefer Foxwoods, DH and I go for a weekend at least once a year. Honestly you can't go wrong with Mohegan either, they are both wonderful, but overall I would pick Foxwoods.

I really don't like Atlantic City at all, I don't think I've gone in 10 years. I'm so spoiled by Foxwoods and Mohegan, where everything is in one complex. I don't like going from casino to casino in AC. I also just prefer the atmosphere at Foxwoods and Mohegan.
