MMR and Sick a few days later
Not sure what it is. Mason got his MMR last Wed (a week ago) and then Monday he woke up with a runny nose, but still fine and in good spirits so brought him to daycare. They said he was fine, but runny. Yesterday he was worse. Not really a fever b/c it was 99.9 and that's not a fever, but he was warm and moody all day so he's staying home today with Grandma.
Has anyone else's DC had this reaction after the MMR? He got the MMR and Chicken Pox last week. He's also getting in his molars so I thought it's a mix of things.

Re: MMR and Sick a few days later
It sounds like it could be the molars and not a reaction to the MMR. 99.9 is really not a fever.
I know my DD gets a runny nose when she has teeth coming in and is pretty moody. She was moodier than normal with the incoming molars because they do take alot longer to come in.
hope he feels better!

Re: MMR and Sick a few days later
99.9 sounds more like his molars. The *standard* reaction, if they're going to get one at all, from the MMR is a high fever 7-10 days after the shot, and/or a rash. DS had around 104 at day 9 after his MMR. If his temp skyrockets soon then I would say it's the normal reaction and just do the normal motrin routine. But for now I think it could be just his teething or maybe even a touch of a virus. Hope he feels better soon!

It sounds like it is his teeth or maybe a cold. The symptoms aren't conistent with an MMR reaction.
