minivan vs suv recommendations
please recommend yours
DH and I are looking for something with 4wd (AWD would be ok too), 3 rows of seating (fitting 7 or 8 comfortably), and has trunk space
i currently drive an 05 explorer and love it, but it has a ton of miles and my commute is going to be increasing to 75+ miles a day so its time for a new vehicle. im not opposed to another explorer, just wondering about other options
as of now it will have to fit 2 car seats - maybe eventually 3

minivan vs suv recommendations
We currently have a Toyota Sienna which I really like. We are in the market for a second car and we really like the GMC Acadia. Two seats would definitely fit great but I'm not sure about 3.

I have a Chrysler T&C and will never buy anything else. I was in a rollover accident and walked away from it with just a scratch on my leg. No one could believe it - not even the EMTs and ER doctor.
Plus I love the stow & go. So much room that is configurable based on your needs. Spent a week in PA traveling with a hubby and 2 kids with luggage, coolers, pack and play, wagon and toys and we still had so much room to spare.

We have a honda odyssey.
The new one seats 3 in the first row and 3 in the second, so 8 total.
The doors open automatically and honestly this is the biggest thing for me when comparing the difference between a mini van and suv.
The trunk fits a double stroller, and a full shopping trip to bjs.. have never had trunk space issues.

I don't have it but I love the new explorer. Durango also has 3rd row. The new jeeps are also really nice. The Toyota highlander has 3rd row.
