Mini Pill question
Wasn't sure where to post this.
Anyone on the mini pill not get their period?
I stopped BF at 6 weeks. I got my period shortly after that (which was around when I started the mini pill).. that was about 10 weeks ago and I still have not got it again!
I took a pregnancy test out of fear and it was negative!

I'm still bf and havent gotten it but I have heard other women say that their periods did funky stuff after pregnancy
the only thing is that I think the mini pill is more for when you are breastfeeding because it doesnt have the estrogen which decreases supply- my gyno had told me when I stopped bf she would put me on a regular pill again because it was more effective- so you may want to call for a new prescription

Yea when I went to them at 6 weeks I wasn't sure if I was still going to BF or not so they gave me the mini pill just incase and told me to call for a new prescription if I stopped.. However, I continued to use the mini pill because I had no side effects. I have always had horrible side effects with all BC i tried so I kind of liked it.
I was always so regular before pregnancy I wonder if I should call the Dr. about this

I actually just went to the dr today and she prescribed this for me and told me that often times women will not get their periods while on it. Sounds good to me

I never really got a full period on the mini pill, I would spot 2-3 times a month. To be honest I hated it. As soon as I went off I got a regular period and was relieved. Now we just leave it in God's hands

I am and DD is almost 7 months old. I have yet to get my period.
With DD #1 I didn't take the pill and had my period after a few months pp.

I am EBF now and DS is 7 wks old...I got the minipill But am not sure when to start taking it. I haven't gotten my period yet. Can anyone tell me?

Start anytime! BFing can delay AF for a long time; I wouldn't wait for your period to start taking the pill.
to the OP: I'm 5 months pp, EBFing, and on the mini pill and haven't gotten my period yet. It's pretty great.

I'm 12 1/2 weeks PP, EBFing and taking the mini pill since I was 6 weeks PP.
No sign of AF and no complaints from me!

Just got AF for the first time yesterday...
Took the minipill for 7 months and never got it during then. Got AF the last day of my pack of regular pills.
Is there a reason you're still on the minipill if you aren't BFing anymore? It's such a tricky little pill that requires you to take it at the same exact minute each day, I'd be nervous taking it without the "back-up birth control" BFing provides....
