Mini cinvertible crib question

I was looking online and saw a mini convertible crib. My question is how much smaller is this than a regualr crib and will it be too small to use everyday or is it more for grandma and grandpas house? I have a very tiny nursery and am trying to save space in any way possible. Also- will a standard matress fit or do i need to get a smaller one?

Re: Mini cinvertible crib question

I think they have mini crib mattresses and the crib itself will convert out to a twin bed. I have a friend who is using it daily.

Re: Mini cinvertible crib question

I've seen them in the store and it's just a smaller crib. They seem to have their own size mattresses. I commented on how cute they were at one store and the women told me their great for apartment living. So, I wouldn't see an issue with using it everyday.

My BFF got a mini crib and loves it. You definitely need to buy the right size mattress to go with it. She said that it's smaller, but not tiny so she doesn't think the baby will grow out of it too quickly.

I have a mini crib because the baby's room is tiny. Most peoples closets are bigger than her room. The mattress is the same size as a pack and play. So you can buy the same sheets. The only issue you may have is trying to find bedding for it, meaning bumper, comforter, and bed skirt. There are some companies out there that make them but not a whole lot. The bedding wasn't a huge thing for me as I just found some blankets that I liked and called it a day.
