Milk and Sugar Cafe in Bay Shore...yes or no?
I love homey, antique type places and heard this place was cute, kinda like Three Village Inn or Garden Grill. How do you like it? How's the food?

OMG that place is delish i had my Bachlorette party their in 2003, and on monday nights they have psychic nights. Overall its a great place and you would enjoy it.

Never been to the other places, but I love Milk & Sugar!!! You used all the right words to describe it!!! The comfy arm chairs & sofas are so great! Last time I went it was like my friend & I were in a living room, sitting on her sofa with a coffee table in front of us!
We must have been there 2 hours for lunch (which was REALLY yummy!!!)
Enjoy it!

I love this place!!!! I used the Bridal Suite of Bayshore for my wedding dress and I think I went there after every fitting!
The fondue is SO yummy!

me too. The girls in their used to look at me like I was crazy because my little sister and used to get the smores and the sweet potato fries, right after I had had a wedding dress fitting. Guess I wasnt supposed to eat that. lol

It's very good--- if would make a reservation though, I've had to wait awhile at lunch there before.
ETA: There is a place in Stony Brook Village called Robinson's TeaRoom- along the same lines as the description you're looking for, and also very good. Make a reservation there too though.
