Miley Cyrus AMA Performance
I feel like she was REALLY REALLY good. I hate that she feels like she needs all the theatrics, she has SUCH a pretty voice.
Did anyone notice that she got "choked up" when she said "i only want you"(or whatever the line was)
It was all very nice except that she looks like this:

The choking up thing is part of an act I think. She cries in the video, cried while performing at the I Heart Radio music festival, and then again at the AMAs.

I completely agree with the distracting cat and the crying act. If she would just sing without all the other distractions, I think she'd be much more tolerable.

I think she just likes the attention in the news, but honestly if she would have came out in a stunning gown ahe would get just as much attention. Its such a beautiful song but instead of focusing on that i am focusing on the distractions.

I'm usually not a fan of her voice. But from the 30 seconds I watched of this performance I thought she sounded good.
Too bad it's be overshadowed by the "performance" she puts out.

I am personally not a fan of her voice - I think there are MUCH better singers out there.
That said, she isn't TERRIBLE but her antics just make me lose all respect from her. She is such a wanna be - everything she does is for ratings.
She wouldn't be this talked about if she didn't do the things she does. So that to me just says she can't stand on her voice alone.

I agree she has a great voice...she was on Jimmy Fallon and recorded an a-Capella version of her other song with his band, and you can tell she can really sing....now if she'd just drop the freak show act!
