Mild OHSS - will they cancel transfer?
I'm pretty sure I have mild OHSS - was crampy after retrieval and it got better yesterday but worse today. Stomach distended and just a bit sore. Will they cancel my transfer? They are shooting for a 5 day so it would be Saturday. Will see dr in the a.m. but just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone has BTDT. Thanks. A bit sad but want to be ok....

Depends...
I had mild hyper stim after my IVF. I was in a fair amount of pain for about 5-6 days after retrieval.
I ended up being fine, they werent too worried ...
They will usually only cancel if its bad.

Thanks for sharing your story - I spoke with the nurse this morning and she didn't seem too concerned. I'll go in tomorrow for a sono if I want to doublecheck everything is ok (I feel better today) and then hopefully a Saturday transfer.

I actually knew someone who was doing IVF at the same time as me and her hyperstim was AWFUL....They had to drain her even and she got PG through it all.....SO no worries!!!
