MIL comment annoyed me
my MIL said to my SIL that her luck our baby will come out with blonde hair and blue eyes and look nothing like her (she has dark hair and dark eyes and almost has an asian look to ther), well of course i HAVE BLUE EYES and was blonde as a baby (i am a brunette now) so hello, of course their is a good chance this baby could have light eyes, plus my FIL has blue eyes and my dad has green eyes  but i guess she didn't take all of that into consideration LOL
plus her son (my DH) has hazel green brownish eyes, i sort of know where she is coming from, b/c this is her first biological grandchild (my DH brothers were adopted) so i know she is hoping to see some resemblence, it was jus tthe way she said it i guess, i dont kow maybe its my hormones!!!

I wouldn't sweat it. My MIL says the most inappropriate things at times...I told her freckles (of which I have A LOT of) are dominant and she was like "ohhhhhh NOOOO"

Love it! My MIL comes out with remarks sometimes that I but let roll off my back. It's not worth it. Most of it I chalk up to poor translation. Her native language is Spanish and speaks broken english
