Mid Suffolk Peds Patients....
For those of you that use the MSP practice in Islandia... who do you recommend for a specific doctor. I have to pick one for my initial visit and was just looking for recommendations. Also...overall, are you happy with the practice?

We go to MSP primarily in Mt Sinai, but have been to the Islandia office as well. We see Dr. Hofilena and like him very much. I like Tracy Manners a lot also.
The Islandia office is great because there is a pharmacy right in that building and they are fast!

We see Dr Kee and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE her.
She is so patient and so thorough, she will take 20 mins with you at your appt if thats what you need. She will answer every single question you have and not brush you off.
If I cant see her, I try to get in with Berman.
Dr Lasner there is a friend of mine and she is a FABULOUS Dr also. Her father is one of the original Drs there (Dr Stein) Id recommend her as well. We became friends through a mothers group after DS was already a patient there.....just so you dont think Im biased and thats why I go there. I dont see her though bc I dont want to mix friends with patients kind of thing, but personally Id recommend her.
Really though, I love all of them, you cant go wrong IMO.
Im beyond thrilled with the practice, I dont have a single complaint.

Hands down..........Dr. Berman! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him and yes, we are very happy with the practice so far. They are open 7 days a week and they ALWAYS get you in right away for sick visits. They don't keep you waiting forever for your appt., I am usually called in within 5 min. The nurses are sooooo nice. I've been very happy with them.
