metallic taste
I have to say so far I have been very lucky with my first trimester pregnancy symptoms. I am 10w2d and to date have had only a little nausea and no vomiting.
My biggest symptom is that everything tastes like metal after eating or drinking. I try to drink juice to drown the taste but it only lasts moments. Drinking water tastes like I would imagine battery acid or transmission fluid would taste like.
Any ideas on how long this will last or what I can do to make it go away?

For me it started in the second trimester but didn't last long. I kept mints on hand and that worked a little.

yes that taste is awful!! I am going on 6 weeks and started getting it last week ugh! I am now sucking on mints and it seems to help!

I had a penny taste (still do sometimes) i think itsfrom my gums that bleed on & off from raging hormones.

Did u try switching vitamins I had that problem too switched vitamins and its gone now

I was taking the centrum complete prenatals and switched to the cvs ones. One of the mineral contents was really high and caused the metal taste
