Metal taste in mouth
I'm 8w4d today & I still keep getting the nasty metal/minty taste in my mouth! It's not all the time but quite frequently, esp after I eat (no matter what it is)!
Any input/experience on when this will stop? (please don't say 7 months from now!)

Yknow, I have this nasty taste in my mouth too! Started about a week or so ago (when I was 7-8weeks). It was just a horrible nasty after taste every time I ate something :( I think its due to my MS though..so Im hoping it goes away when my MS does. Do you have MS?

I had that for a few weeks. Not much you can do about it. I kept gum and sucking candies close by. It probably went away by the end of the 1st trimester. Good luck!!

Mine has been around since back when I got my BFP a month ago. I sorta have morning sickness (nauseous here & there, esp if I'm hungry) but nothing too bad. (haven't puked or even come close to puking).
Oh well, just wondering when it'd subside! Although if I have it for all 9 months, it will be well worth it on April 25th!

Same here! Although, mine went away probably by 9 or 10 weeks or so.

Mine didn't last more than two weeks I think. However chewing too many tums has had the same effect on my so now i just drink milk.

Its horrible, I hate it!! I had it with my other 2 pregnancy's, but this time its lasting longer! I have to use mouth wash a lot!!

Totally normal and probably a good sign! I had it with my 1st in the early weeks...it didn't last long. I haven't had it yet this time around which explains a lot (i think I am miscarrying  ).

See if you can change your pre-natal. It may be an aftertaste from your vitamins.

I had that, usually when I ate dairy. I couldn't eat cream cheese for the entire 1st tri because it was so bad. Good news, it went away as soon as second tri started. Hang in there!
