Merrick road Question

If you are driving down Merrick road and heading east, does it turn into Main Street, or is that a different road entirely?

We are going to a wedding at Lands End on Sunday and I am looking for the easiest way there.

The website says to take
Sunrise Hwy to exit 49 (Lakeland Avenue). Make a right at the traffic light and travel south to Main Street. Make a left onto Main Street. Go to first traffic light and make a right onto Foster Avenue. Take Foster to the end. At water, make a left onto Browns River Road and follow directly to Lands End. At entrance make a right into the parking lot.

I thought Merrick Road turned into Montauk Highway the further east you went.

It sounds like you'll be turning onto Lakeland Ave and then looking for Main Street.
