Menu thread 6-5
I have been very bad with planning. Hoping to get back on track.
Sun.- ?
Mon.- turkey and stuffing roll ups, gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes
Tues.- Chicken soup with tubettini, carrots, and grated romano cheese (and a sandwich for DH)
Wed.- Meatloaf with brown sugar and ketchup glaze, mashed potatoes, peas
Thurs.- raviolis with sauce
Fri.- work party

Wed: Quiche: Ham & Cheese and Mushroom & Spinach, Bacon & Citrus Fruit Salad
Thurs: BBQ Pork Chops, Homemade Potato Salad, & Garden Salad
Fri: Pizza
Sat: Chili Lime Chicken Burgers & Pasta Salad with tomato, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, & balsalmic dressing

Thursday: Grilled Asian Marinated Cod, Grilled Bok Choi, Rice and Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp
Friday: Filet Mignon, Arugula Sauteed in Garlic and Oil, and Grilled Potatoes
Saturday: Grilled Chicken Breasts, Grilled Eggplant and Corn on the Cob
Sunday: Rotisserie Chicken, Mixed Green Salad, Steamed Broccoli and Baked Potatoes
Monday: Skinnytaste Beef Picadillo and Rice
Tuesday: Grilled Chicken leftovers
Wednesday: Breakfast for Dinner- Green Pepper and Mushroom Omelets and Baked Homefries.

Tue- Grab something quick i have a DR appointmnt

Fri- Pizza
Sat- Hamburger/hotdogs on BBQ w. pasta salad

Usually when I plan everything changes anyway but I like try!!

Mon: hot dogs and knishes
Tues: date night! dinner and a movie!
Wed: stuffed ravioli
Thurs: a chicken dish (haven't decided what)

Thursday - not sure
Friday - out
baking this week - buttermilk vanilla pound cake (soooo good!), banana bread

I haven't really been able to plan too much... and last week my whole menu never happened, haha!
sun - bbq at friends house
monday - grilled marinated boneless leg of lamb, baked potatoes, spinach and cheese stuffed portobella's
Tues - Grilled chicken thighs, cous cous, veggie TBD
Wed - grilled scallops, rice pilaf, cucumber salad
Thurs - in laws for dinner i thinkg
friday - mim's for dinner to celebrate our 1st annivesary!
sat - 30th bday party

A deli by works makes an AWESOME picadillo w/ turkey chopmeat and quinoa. I found a seasoning packet in the supermarket that I use.

light week!
Sat: out
Sun: picnic on Govenors Island...sliced meats, cheeses, baguette, fruit and champagne
Mon: leftover cheeses and meats from picnic, with couscous, mixed greans salad
Tues: out with my dh's visiting nephew..hopefully Grimaldi's
Wed: veal cutlets milanese over arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette
Thurs: mommy and me picnic with Luce..grilled chicken, olives, cucumber tomato salad and fruit

sunday- steak cooked on the the grill with some mixed veggies
monday- turkey burger(no bun) baked beans with corn on the cob
tuesday- turkey chipotle taco night with fixings
wednesday- mondays leftovers
thursday- tuesdays leftovers
friday- apps and cocktails at thom thom
saturday- making a slaw but not sure which meat to bbq yet.

Tuesday: Turkey tacos
Wednesday: London Broil on the grill with grilled corn on the cob with butter and old bay
Thursday: Brushetta Chicken and a salad
Friday: Homemade turkey burgers and French fries
Saturday" Take out

Sunday - went to family party
Monday - I had left over pulled pork so I made empanadas and threw a salad on the side
Tuesday - Skinny Taste rice ball casserole
Wednesday - ravioli homemade marinara with garlic bread and steamed broccoli
Thursday - DS is eating at ILs so DH and I will probably just have leftovers
Friday - either chinese or burgers
Saturday - the opposite of Friday

Sunday: Fusili with homemade sunday sauce, meatballs and salad
Monday: Grilled Skirt steak wrap, grilled eggplant slices and rice side
Tuesday: Rostisserie Chicken, arugula, parmesan and red onion salad, brown rice
Wednesday: Grilled pork chops with pineapple mango salsa, broccoli tossed with garlic/oil, brown/wild rice
Thursday: Honey glazed Salmon, baby spinach salad
Friday: Pizza and Green Salad night (or maybe Chinese)
Saturday: Heros and baked ziti for Murder Mystery night at our friends house (I am bring Death by Chocolate )

we just bought our first home and i am so happy to be cooking again!
( we crashed at my in laws for the past 6 months)
anyhow, i am a little foggy but finding my way around the kitchen again..
so far, this week ive made:
mini tukey meatloaves ( baked in mini cupcake pans) with a homemade potato salad and corn on the side
pesto marinated chicken breasts ( seared them on a grill pan), served with green beans and a salad
tonight i am going to make salmon cakes
and thats all i have so far!
