Men's Briefcases - Please vote
I have no idea what men like. My DH needs a new briefcase/messenger bag for work. Right now he has a tan canvas one from the Gap that is completely destroyed.
Please vote for the one that is the nicest & not too feminine
# 1 Wilsons Leather Top Rod
#2 Kenneth Cole Leather Christina Flapplegate
#3 Elefunk Messenger Bag by JanSport
#4 Kenneth Cole "Buckle Up" Single Gusset Flapover Messenger Bag
#5 Fossil Brooklyn Messenger Bag

Do you have an MJM shoes near you? They always have bags like the ones you posted....same brands, too, with the exception of the Wilson leather one.
I bought Rich a heavy duty samsonite bag there for about $30.

I definitely am leaning towards #1 or #2 I think.
I like the Kenneth Cole "Buckle Up" but I tjhink it might be too feminine.

DH has #2...but....IMO....if DH will be lugging it around, you want the lightest bag possible. He regrets getting leather now and wishes he had gone light-weight!!

that is something to consider. Thank you. He is out in the field all day and does lug it everywhere. I will look into canvas bags too. I just love the leather look though.

OK, I am the only one who voted for the JanSport one, but I am out in the field, and I like the nylon ones since they are lighter and just seem easier to open and close quickly.
If he is in a more conservative type job, I would go with #1 or #2.

I would like #2 - assuming it came with a shoulder strap

Re: Men's Briefcases - Please vote
I voted #3. It's the lightest one there. DH goes into the city everyday and he needs a light bag. The leather ones are just way to heavy for him. He has a beautiful Coach one that cost big $$, but it's not practicle.

Does his bag get pretty heavy? I ask b/c my DH had 2 Kenneth Cole bags already and they both did not last very long (they pretty much fell apart). They look nice, but he was really disappointed in them. Get whichever seems the sturdiest.

I thought the same thing. #2 is my second choice.
