Memory Card question
Right now I have a 1gb memory card in my camera. My BF got me a new camera and a 2bg memory card for it. My 1gb already holds about 500 pics. Does that mean this will hold double? I assume it also depends on the setting its on?

Depending on the setting, it would hold double. If you had the camera set to lower quality it could really hold a LOT more but you'd sacrifice some detail and quality. It depends on how you want to use the pictures--if you want to blow them up and print them, or just view them on a computer...

Check the camera's manual. Some cameras have a limit as to how big the memory card can be. My camera doesn't take 2GB cards (it was made before they were available, so they aren't supported), and even the 1GB card I'm using isn't officially supported, but it obviously works anyway...
