Memorial at tree on Wantagh Ave in Levittown
On Wantagh Ave going North there is a memorial at a tree....was there a fatal accident? I didnt hear about anything.

Memorial at tree on Wantagh Ave in Levittown
If you are referring to the "memorial" right before the small strip of stores on Wantagh Ave. there was a fatal one car accident there early Saturday morning.

I just saw it, and people were gathering dressed in black, many of them were young teens.

A Wantagh man was killed in a single-car crash in Levittown early Sunday morning, police said.
Eklind Veizas, 24, was driving his 2005 Toyota north on Wantagh Avenue in the vicinity of Grey Lane when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole and tree at about 3:39 a.m., police said.
Veizas was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle was impounded for brake and safety checks. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
